• 100% Free for Independent Learners: Every graded reading article on ioChinese is freely accessible without paywalls, subscriptions, or mandatory user registration. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-commercial license to read, practice, and learn from our materials.
• No Login Required to Read: You are never required to create an account or provide personal credentials simply to read our articles, inspect vocabulary, or review grammar explanations.

3. Classroom & Teacher Guidelines

We warmly encourage teachers, tutors, and schools to use ioChinese as a helpful classroom resource.

• Allowed: Sharing direct web links (URLs) of our articles with your students for homework, reading practice, or class discussion.
• Allowed: Displaying our articles on classroom screens during live teaching sessions.
• Prohibited: Scraping, copying in bulk, or reselling our articles, audio files, and vocabulary databases inside commercial textbooks, apps, or paid courses without written permission.

4. Intellectual Property & Linguistic Assets

All original graded reading texts, word segmentations, Smart Visualized Tone-marks (SVTS) notations, 7-tone phonetic guides, and HSK 3.0 syllabus alignment databases are the intellectual property of ioChinese and Jiao Yu, protected by international copyright laws.

The name "ioChinese", the logo, and the methodology ("Kedao Mandarin Chinese" / 可道中文) are protected trademarks.

5. Content Integrity & Linguistic Accuracy

Our core linguistic data (word segmentation, character pinyin, sentence boundaries) undergoes careful human review. While AI may assist with layout or exercise drafting, we always aim for the highest accuracy aligned with official HSK 3.0 standards. Because language is living and dynamic, minor variations may occasionally occur.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. ioChinese does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
